We are living on my dads place while we wait for our septic system to be installed on ours and have to dump using this portable. I literally spill shit every single time I dump because whatever genius designed it decided that they didn’t need a valve to stop the siphon action in the drain hose… Has anyone successfully added a gate valve between the tank and the hose? If so how and does it make this particular tank less nasty and more usable?
I totally agree. I left mine at the dumpster and bought a Rino.
Does anyone have recommendations on portables that have the valve or are not pieces of shit?

There is usually a full port and an empty port. Are you trying to dual use the same port?
