Just picked up my RV from storage and somebody attempted to break in. Its just a 29 foot entry level travel trailer. I feel like even a dumbass thief would realize there is nothing valuable in there, so i guess maybe they were looking for a place to sleep.

BoondockUSA:

I think you’re underestimating how desperate criminals get. Real life isn’t like the movies in which only expensive houses and cars are targeted.

In their eyes, your camper wouldn’t be checked on for a few months, was likely unmonitored, and may have camping accessories, tools, or sporting goods. Things they could quickly sell for cash or trade for drugs.

xarzilla:

I’ve had mine broken into. The cop said it’s because they are generally easy targets to get inside and the criminals are assuming there are valuables inside because they think people with RVs are loaded. This is obviously not the case and the most we keep inside during storage is camping gear, clothes, bedding, etc so I don’t know but yeah I’m sorry man that really sucks

Crackheads be crackheading

Every time I’ve had issues with a storage unit, it’s the staff. Every time.

That sweet black tank digester.

Dirty Mike and the boys were looking for a new love shack.

Meth head looking for anything that can be sold to pay for their next fix.
