My stepdad was mowing and he went over a piece of metal and it shot through the window. I dont really know where to even start looking for a replacement though or how much it will even cost.
Got mine on amazon. For a 30×22 is was around $200 shipped. Probably cheaper with yours being a fixed window, mine was a swing out emergency.
Measure it center of screw to screw left right and then top bottom. Find the closest size. The screws do not screw into the RV, they screw into the frame of the window and squeeze it together, so it doesn’t need to be to the 1/16 of and inch or anything.
It’s actually a really easy job. I was thinking it was going to be a problem, but was so simple. Watch a few youtube videos, you can do it.
I broke a double pane tinted window in my RV due to stupidity and found a replacement at a commercial glass company.
I ended up using plexiglass. Went to Lowes, they cut it to my dimensions but I had to shave off the corners manually (that was a huge pain, but worth the diligence to get it right). Maybe $50? Also had to buy a tube of adhesion and a tube of black Caulk for a finish.
It’s good to have some spacers when you place the glass because the edges shouldn’t sit against the actual frame.
Yes you should just be able to have the glass cut and fitted by a glass shop, just make sure they have access to the specific rubber window seal. Depending on the shop you may need to remove the trim ring and window/ frame.
Local glass company it’s safety glass it’ll be cheaper and quicker for a local company to cut and install it then the manufacturer
Any glass shop can replace that for cheapppppp.
You can also remove all the screws, and bring the whole thing to any company that sells auto glass. They can cut a new piece of safety glass, and install it in your existing frame. They’ll probably even straighten an file the nick in the frame.
It will make a neat conversation piece.
