TxTanker134: Bout to head on a 2000 mile trip with the camper. I bought a sway control system to hook up this week… and I run into this ????‍♂️????‍♂️

tito2323: Wow.. Hope everyone was OK.

VaticanCattleRustler: I will never forget the day I was towing my Scion on a car dolly behind my RV. One of the cotter pins on the hitch failed, causing it to drop out and start swerving from side to side, being jerked along by the safety chains while I was driving down I-10 at about 65 mph. Thank god it was early morning and no one was around me. I was able to pull over and call a tow truck who helped me reattach it with no serious damage. It was the scariest moment I’ve had behind the wheel.

Moral of the story: check the cotter pins on bumpy roads and make sure you have excellent safety chains. You never know when you’ll need them.
