Was replacing the head u it in the dash and found more than I bargained for. Apparently, the renovators decided to just shove the old back up camera into the dash area instead of just removing it. WTF. ????

Sounds about right. People are lazy. I fix cars for a living, used to do rv repairs. I’ve removed the underbelly panels in brand new rvs to fix issues and have found all the hole cutouts, pieces of wiring, flashlights, food wrappers, plumbing parts, the manufacturers just toss everything and ship it out the door. As far as cars, I’ve found old spark plug wires just cut and dangling before. The previous tech was to lazy to remove them, just cut out what he could and replaced them. Seen oxygen sensors still dangling from their hold downs and new ones installed without the wiring being secured…. it’s just plain lazy
