Hey everyone! As a longtime lurker of the subreddit over the past year, I just wanted to say thank you to this community. Reading through answers to everyone’s questions has been super helpful.

I initially looking to purchase a Forest River FSX 163RDSK with my already owned tow vehicle of a Jeep Grand Cherokee (6,200 lbs rating, 620 hitch) but in large part due to the advice I saw here, decided to go with the much more reasonable Geo Pro 19FD (3,200 lbs dry).

Just started out this week from Austin TX heading up to Colorado to do some snowboarding. Currently at Mineral Wells State Park outside of Fort Worth.

Excited for the journey ahead! Thank you!

Awesome choice with the Geo Pro 19FD, and that’s some beautiful aerial footage of an amazing area! Enjoy the snowboarding and hope you capture some epic drone footage of your adventures!

That looks cool. What park is that?

Rojelioenescabeche:

Those two trailers are apples and oranges. Good move on the Rockwood

kumarbi_knasher:

Nice location. Seems peaceful

davidhally:

Yep, always nice to have extra towing capacity! And a NEW RV!

Caramellatteistasty:

Yeah this sub has me convinced that even though my vehicle is rated at 5000LB, I’m better off going with something much lighter. I am leaning toward Scamp or Casitas! 🙂
