John_d_dyer: After an amazing weekend renting a 2008 Winnebago Chalet 29T from Outdoorsy we decided to go on the hunt to buy an RV and potentially replace our 1988 Westfalia camper van. After a lot of searching online we found that we really liked the styling, floorplans and build quality of the Lazy Daze Class C RVs. To us they really seemed like the best class c motorhome that would meet all of our needs and budget. The only problem was being hand made in California with pretty low production numbers (~30-200 per year) its pretty hard to find any of them to see what they really look like.
We finally found one just a few hours away on Craigslist! It was a 1999 Lazy Daze 26.5 Rear Kitchen (RK) Class-C Motorhome and it was only 3 and a half hours away! After some chatting back and forth with the owner we set a date and hit the road to check it out. Let us know what you think!
