Removed the Solitude lettering off of our nose cap. It had started to peel so I just took it off. Much better view out of the living room now.

But there eis a small ghost if you will. This is probably because of how long they were on… Road rash and UV differences.

Is there any kind of buffing compound I can maybe use to even it out? By hand, or if it 'forces me' to buy a new tool .. oh darn.

Nonstopshooter21:

They make a cutting buffing compound from meguiars that ive had awesome luck with. after getting the residue off buff it with a finishing compound. Working incredible well on my ice castles remaining sticker glue after debadging on a fiberglass exterior and have used it extensively getting rusty water residue off fiberglass boats.

FoleysFolly:

If that is just glue and leftover paint, try orange Goo be gone. Try on a small area first to see results but it should work just fine.

Possible-Tap-676:

If it’s glue residue, try sticker remover from local auto parts store.I used it on my fifth wheel worked great.

jinxt_:

If it’s glass, spray some soap water and scrape it off with a razor blade

TemporaryIllusions:

I would try Glass Cooktop Cleaner, do a small test spot first though.

kungfujuice:

Gonna sound weird. But Scrubbing Bubbles or comet and a soft sponge.

It’s kinda like a really gentle wet sand.

Itpaysthesamesuka:

Steel wool and water, keep surface wet while scrubbing.
