Hey guys, I have a Norcold N841IM in a 1999 Holiday Rambler. I am having a really weird problem in that my power button is not shutting off the fridge. What's weird is the fridge knows when I'm pressing it (screen is responsive and pauses beeping when I press it an attempt to turn it off) but it won't ACTUALLY turn off. Just continues beeping at me to tell me theres no power. Tried doing a hard reset by disconnecting 12V power and still didn't fix it. Runs just fine on generator/shore power. It's not a huge issue as I can either A) drive with generator on between jobs (we are full timers) or B) just not travel with food, as once we arrive at our next job we will have shore power and it won't be a big deal, but would like to fix if anyone has ideas.

Have the same one, not sure but I just hold pwr button for think 2-3 seconds , then it’s off

archaic_revenge:

Have you tried going to each mode and shutting it off there?

I have a 99 fleetwood prowler 26t ls. Had a dometic Americana. 25 years old , I yanked it & replaced it with a 10.1 magic chef . Its not dual power, but runs great off of the solar system. Industry says you can’t install a regular fridge. I have friends who installed same units 20 + years ago & no problems.

You could flip the breaker off.
