We almost never hang things in our bedside wardrobes and use bins instead. I’d like to make some roll out shelves for the bottom so the back bin is easily accessible and also replace the closet bar with another shelf for things like sweaters etc to be folded on.

Anyone done this have have tips? I’m not so concerned with building the slide out shelves other than sourcing the materials since the base is fairly sturdy, but more leery about adding the mid way up shelf since the walls are paper/balsa wood in strength haha.

IKEA has been my friend. Well, I don’t have this exact set up. I’ve used some of their shelving and ended up cutting it down if you have the tools and a relatively handy, you can get it in there and then assemble it in place.

Target sells one of those chrome racks that fit in mine perfectly. I then added 2 poly totes to each shelf and then some smaller dollar store ones to the top. Perfect fit.

Downside was no more hanging cloths as we converted both sides so each person has a bin for cloths and 4 bins for other linens and etc…

I used a hanging cloth shelf rack that I purchased from Amazon. Works beautifully!

Love to see what others have done as well.
