If there are weight distribution supports on the hitch, it can sound like that…. Though yes, I would say: it shouldn’t make quite THAT much adjustment noise. Possibly not installed totally flush with weight etc

Federal-Buffalo9093:

It’s the anti-sway bar system. Very normal sound when turning.

Scar1203:

I’ve never towed a travel trailer with a WD hitch so I’m not exactly knowledgeable on the subject, but I can say I’ve never heard that much of a racket coming off someone’s TT while leaving a campground.

ROK247:

yep i have the same one and that’s what it does. it was louder when it was brand new. after a couple years it has mellowed out a bit. metal sliding on metal under tension. thats the anti-sway part.

Beneficial-Way7849:

Dunno, I don’t pull out.

gdoebs:

Another reason I love my B&W Continuum.

tbwynne:

You will that a lot in camp grounds when people are pulling out.

Source: Is this sound normal while pulling out? This YouTuber in the comments was saying this is normal and was told when he bought it all trailers make this sound.
