My dad was cleaning out the garage and found this blue ox system, but we aren’t sure if it’s complete. Feel like it might be missing some pieces, but we can’t even identify it and aren’t even sure where it came from. Anyone have any ideas on how I could find out or is familiar with Blue Ox products?

No_Eye1022:

You have two different hitch systems here. Looks like a mostly complete tow-behind system for towing a small vehicle behind a bus, and a second weight distribution system for towing a travel trailer behind a truck. You are missing the brackets that fit onto the travel trailer from the weight distribution hitch though. Someone else will have to chime in for the tow behind system if you are missing anything from that

BedBugger6-9:

For the Blue Ox system, some states will also require a braking system and emergency break away switch. The vehicle you’re towing will also need a baseplate to hook up the tow bar to.

So the bottom or left side of the picture is most of what you would need for a weight distribution system minus the clamps that go on the A frame of the trailer itself. I can’t really speak as to the others as it’s for pulling a car behind a motorhome.

You have an incomplete hitch and an incomplete toad.
