When I break, should the ring go full circle? Or just half or 25%? I will be driving down the mountains, don't fully understand the app UI, played with different output, sometimes it goes 25%, with low output setting it can go full circle

rped80:

Circle should fill up totally when you brake. As far as pressure and sensitivity goes, you need to adjust as you see fit.

Dude that thing sucks so much. I had one for a year and I was constantly dealing with it slamming on the trailer brakes and not working well. It did usually do fine at highway speeds. I was never able to get it to work well at all speeds tho.

I upgraded my tow vehicle that had an integrated brake controller and it’s worlds better. I set the gain once and now I never think about it anymore. My buddy has a tekonsha brake controller and loves it. I know it’s hardwired, meaning it needs to be installed (unlike the curt one) but I’d say the curt is trash and worth replacing. Sorry.
