Trust me, the unholy amount of tape, resin, fiberglass, epoxy putty and other crap I've been using just to keep it attached makes me feel dumb and more disappointed in my self than any comment could. lol I'm a huge DIY person and it's my worst attempt at fixing something in 25 years. (No I don't use it btw) Now and again I'll research what exactly the name of the thing that broke off is… the “neck” “flange” “drain pipe” “outlet” …etc. results almost always show me the valve with T handle. ????
I've read about using ABS glue, but I also see other new tanks with a rubber piece instead of the original welded at production like mine. I dunno, last ditch effort I guess, I can get a new one but,
won't feel right about it until l've exhausted every possible idea first. Anyway, any thoughts or suggestions welcome… feel free to mock or shame me for from using everything from duct tape to up resin. I know it’s bad, I can take it. lol
I couldn’t even get a crack to stop leaking. Just buy a new tank
Seems like a lost cause to me. Very hard to fix since there always going to be a fair amount of stress applied when opening/closing that gate valve.
Can you find a new tank? Price?
Omg…..what have you been eating?
Oh man.. I really can’t help myself .. apologies
“Holy Shit!”
New tank dont screw with it
All good things come to an end. I think you’re there with this tank.
Maybe with a new one you can figure out a way to reposition it a little higher. Then you can call it a “modification” and don’t have to feel bad about not being able to fix the old one.
what tank is this?
