6-5-10-6-11: Those are water drain lines. The caps are missing off of them. You do not want to connect them together because your hot water and cold water will mix.

Tiger851: Some people install a ball valve in place of the caps to make it easier to drain and no caps to loose. I haven’t gotten around to it, but I place the caps in hot water heater area so I don’t loose them. Like the hot water heater drain its probably best to let it drain and dry out (couple of days) then put back on so bugs don try to crawl in and make a home.

a_god_damned_furry: If water comes out of the drain lines when you connect city water or turn on the pump, the winterizing valves were probably left in the wrong positions.

Source: Explorer camper water system. When I turn on water to the city water inlet water comes out of the left line. Do I cap or connect these lines with a y valve.
