DragYouDownToHell:

People here do this all the time. There was one parked on the Pacific Highway, that had the slide blocking the whole bike lane for over two weeks. A rocket scientist by my work, occasionally parks one with an open slide, immediately around a 90-degree corner. Maybe hoping to get hit for insurance reasons.

momlin:

Maybe don’t put your slide out in such a situation….

MutedMeaning5317:

Bylaw infraction where I live.

Set up on driveway or yard only is allowed.

Keeps this hazard off the street.

UTtransplant:

Cones. While we don’t park on the street overnight with slides out, we put the slides out to pack it. Cones go out. When we are overnighting in a big box parking lot, cones again.

thecamino:

Wait til they empty the black tank “Christmas Vacation” style.

Adorable_Wolf_8387:

Put some red reflective tape on the slide at the very least.

ducrab:

Opposite direction would put the steps into the street. Best would be to leave the slide in.

Source: Driving to work this morning and this was parked on the street. If you’re gonna camp on the street maybe park the opposite direction so the slide doesn’t protrude into the street.
