Can anyone explain how to use this hot water heater? We are new to this travel trailer and the previous owners weren't able to go over how to use it with us as we were in a hurry when picking it up unfortunately. I know the instructions are there, but i have no idea what a gas cock is. Is it the little metal thing at the top right? If someone can ELI5 for me, that would be amazing.

Turn it to pilot and push the blue dial. Light pilot after gas comes out. Hold for a minute to heat thermocouple. Good luck.
It also looks like that water heater temp is turned down pretty low too so dont be surprised if the water doesnt seem to be hot enough
so the blue dial is the control knob, the 2 wires going to the end of the flue are the thermocouple and the sparker, sometimes the sparker doesn’t work so turn on the propane and stick a bbq lighter on the end and turn the knob to the pilot u might have to depress the knob while doing so and if it ignites hold if for abit on pilot mode then turn it over to on.it should stay on, if it doesn’t then the thermocouple is bad
Blue dial is the Gas Cock. Follow the instructions and it should fire as long as the main regulator to the trailer is functioning
Hey, looks just like mine. These types sometimes tend to blow out if you’re facing the wind, just as a heads up. Not all, but some.
