We picked up our brand new 2024 Keystone Avalanche 390DS last week, and we are having some trouble right off the bat. To preface, we are hauling this rig with a 2020 GMC 2500HD Denali. As we were driving home, the brake connections between the truck and the camper kept going in and out, pretty rapidly. This didn't start happening until about 4 hours into the drive back home. We stopped 3 times to make sure everything was secured and in place. What could be the issue here?

I had a similar problem and turns out my plug wasn’t in tight enough. Spray some lubricant on your trailer plug to make sure it’s going in all the way

urstillatroll:

Loose plug is the most likely culprit. At highway speed the vibration probably is exasperating it. Mine is really picky, I need to shove it in REALLY right. Also, I use electrical connection battery terminal grease which helps.

Make sure the plug is good and tight
