They have excellent quality equipment.
And try to buy a kit with an MPPT charge controller instead of the inexpensive PWM controllers.
The PWM type is cheaper but is very inefficient compared to MPPT.
Take some time to research.
Renogy has great information on their website.
You can’t beat the price at Harbor Freight, but remember 100 watts is just 100 watts, don’t expect miracles.
I have a set, we used it to charge a small battery for tent camping to run a cpap. Worked fine for that purpose.
I have used two sets of these for years now. I like the fact I can get them right off the shelf and they are pretty much idiot proof. There is also this: https://www.harborfreight.com/400-watt-universal-solar-connector-68689.html that you can parallel sets with.
I got tired of opening and closing the battery boxes to connect the charge controller to the battery(s) so I got an Atwood trolling motor connector: https://tbnation.net/products/attwood-trolling-motor-quick-connectors so I could just plug it in. If you have a newer model all you will need is the plug to fit the trailer.

I had 3 sets of theseI mounted on top of my shed when I lived in FL, with 4 deep cycle marine batteries and a 2000w inverter (kinda wasteful really) and I was able to run lights, AC and various power tools (small tools, not table saws or anything) and built an adjacent deck using only the power from the shed. The batteries are critical so you have some stored up in reserve when the sun isn’t shining.
And those panels are HEAVY
That’s expensive. Try to find $1/1 watt.
Source: Anyone using these type of solar panels? Are they worth getting?? And what can you run with them??
