Thx! Seemed kinda obvious so felt dumb asking, but hadn’t seen it before and haven’t not had a gravity fill before…and the manual doesn’t reference it at all. Well, will be a lot easier than putting a gallon of solution into hose, then hooking hose up to pressure fill, then disconnecting and doing it 3 more times before filling rest of tank!
Everything you are looking at is past the water tank, you won’t get anything in it from here. The water heater bypass is to allow you to run water through the system without filling the water heater tank. It is so you don’t have to fill it with 6 gallons of antifreeze during the winter. You best bet to put something in the fresh water tank is a short piece of hose with a funnel. Hook to to the tank fill outside and pour your chlorine/bleach/tank treatment into the hose with a funnel.
Yes that would pump back to the tank.
I’m shuddering looking at that vinyl hose. I’ve had to deal with several leaks from those blowing off the fittings. Replacing them all with pex as I go.
