In Australia some caravan/RV parks and national park camping areas require only a mesh flooring not a carpet rug or plastic recycled mat see here as it kills the grass.
Some caravan/RV parks are sick of maintaining the grass and go for full astro turf sites and use a tractor with a tow hitch attachment to reverse your caravan/RV on for you to prevent anyone screwing around on the astroturf (the one park we go to the tractor is called the “marriage saver”).
We had one come at 8:15 and timidly say that we should probably turn off our camper’s AC because generators are prohibited after 8:00 and he kinda sees ACs as generators since they’re generating something. Not the rule, just his opinion…
