HUD is exempting RVs from their regulation. So RVs are clearly designed for recreational or seasonal use; not for full-time living. That will have implications for RVers. A Lance camper we purchased did clearly state it was not for full-time living so maybe all RVs already state that. If a manufacturer or dealer found out you were living full-time, they could void your warranty. It’s not clear if it changes the standards for RV construction but that’s a possibility too. Perhaps someone more familiar with current regulations can add to the discussion.
