I see you have a link already, but I’ll add that it is very easy.

Just get another strip of this stuff from an rv place. Pull this one out and sort of roll the new one and pop it in. Don’t know if that makes sense, but it’s not that hard to do.
This strip is important as it’s keeping water from getting around the screws. Kind of a type of weather stripping.

Very easy. I picked up 100ft of that stuff from Etrailer.com and spent about 50 bucks.

Whatever caulking adhesive you use, make sure it’s OK for what you are using it on. They are different.
