What do the red and green symbols mean? Mine has a red “r” shown when both tanks are full, open and flowing. Doesn’t seem right.

evelbug:

The red should indicate that the selected tank is empty and the regulator has switched over to the other tank.

You say both tanks are full. Did you weigh them? If the selected tank is full and open, you may have a bad valve on the tank.

tenaciousweasel:

I thought the way you have it set means it is feeding off the left (in photo) tank. Mine looks exactly like this right now but where your markings are red mine are green.

outandon24:

We have one on each tank as they’re on either side of the rv. Green means gas is on and flowing. Red is off/empty.

PBJDee:

We had this regulator put on when our original was recalled and we have the same problem with it.

I_Love_Lava_Lamp:

Is one tank remarkably lighter than the other? My tank will show this when there is just a little propane left. The stove will work but not for much longer.
