For anyone who has a bunk trailer with only one kid here’s an idea for you. The shelves were made entirely out of the wood and panel from the bunk. The bunk was screwed in from the outside (tin walled trailer) so I left the perimeter instead of cutting the screws and causing damage to the panels.

Thomasv9334: I’ve always wondered if one could do that… I’ve also thought about just making the ‘top bunk’ on half covered so you have a shelf to place things, this works very well too.
